Initial Consultation:

Your journey begins with a visit to your orthodontist. During this initial consultation, your orthodontist will assess your dental structure, discuss your goals, and determine if Invisalign™ is suitable for you. This step often includes taking X-rays, photographs, and digital scans of your teeth to create a precise treatment plan.

Custom Treatment Plan

Using the images and data collected, your orthodontist, in collaboration with Invisalign™, will craft a personalized treatment plan. This plan includes a digital projection of how your teeth will move at each stage and an estimate of the treatment duration.

Receiving Your Aligners

Once your custom aligners are ready, you'll receive them from your orthodontist. These aligners are made of a clear, flexible material, designed specifically to fit snugly over your teeth and gradually shift them into the desired position.

Wearing Your Aligners

You will need to wear your aligners for 20 to 22 hours a day, only removing them to eat, drink anything other than water, brush, and floss. Approximately every two weeks, you'll switch to a new set of aligners that will continue the teeth movement process.

Regular Check-ups

Throughout the treatment, you'll have periodic check-ups with your orthodontist to monitor progress and make any necessary adjustments. These visits are crucial to ensure everything is moving according to plan.

Completion and Retainers

After you’ve gone through all your aligners, your teeth should be in their final positions. However, to prevent them from shifting back, you'll likely need to wear retainers. Your orthodontist will discuss the best retainer options for you to maintain your new smile.
